A healthier twist on classic buffalo wings, these crispy cauliflower bites pack all the flavor without the meat. Perfect for game day or as a spicy snack!
Preheat oven to 230°C (450°F). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, plant-based milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Dip cauliflower florets into the batter, making sure they're evenly coated. Shake off excess and place on prepared baking sheet, leaving space between pieces.
Cooking
Bake for 15 minutes, flip pieces over, and bake additional 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
While cauliflower is baking, prepare the buffalo sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine hot sauce, vegan butter, maple syrup, and garlic powder. Whisk until butter is melted and sauce is well combined.
Remove cauliflower from oven and brush generously with buffalo sauce mixture.
Return to oven for 5 minutes to set the sauce.
