2. Data Collection & Usage
We collect and process the following user data:
- Personal Information: Email, name, and authentication credentials when signing up via email, Google, or Apple.
- User-Generated Content: Recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, and shared content.
- Payment Data: Managed by Google Pay and Apple Pay; we do not store payment details.
- Analytics & Tracking: Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for performance monitoring. We use cookies or similar tracking technologies to enhance functionality and user experience. Where required, we will obtain your consent before storing cookies on your device.
- Dietary Preferences: If provided, used for meal recommendations.
- Bot Detection: We use Cloudflare Turnstile to detect and prevent bots. This service processes IP addresses and places a cookie on your device to distinguish humans from bots. For more information, please see Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google Cloud Services): For authentication, database, analytics, and crash reports.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: For bot detection and prevention.
- Google AdSense: We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our platform. Google AdSense may use cookies and web beacons to collect information about your browsing activities to provide personalized advertisements. - Advertising Platforms: We may display targeted ads via third-party networks, which may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to track engagement. Users can manage their ad preferences via device settings or opt-out links.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
- User data is retained for 30 days after account deletion.
- If an account remains inactive for 12 months (e.g., no logins or interactions), we may delete associated data unless required by law to retain it.
- You may request account and data deletion through the app settings.

We use encryption, authentication, and Firebase security rules to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure. In case of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by law.

GDPR (EU Users)

CCPA (California Users)
Under the CCPA, California residents have the right to access, correct, and delete their personal data. We do not sell personal data to third parties. However, some third-party services we use (e.g., advertising networks) may collect data for personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads by:
