1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PrepAhead, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use. Your continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

• Users must provide accurate information and keep login credentials secure.
• Users agree not to engage in activities that violate applicable laws, infringe intellectual property rights, or harm other users.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

3. Content Ownership & Usage

• Users own their uploaded recipes.
• If shared publicly, users grant us a non-exclusive license to display and promote their content, with credit based on the provided user information. The license remains in effect unless the user removes the content, at which point we will cease using it within 30 days.
• Users take full responsibility for their shared recipes.
• While our recipes may draw inspiration from various sources, we maintain original creation and ownership rights. If any party believes their intellectual property rights have been infringed, they must submit a detailed claim to support@prepahead.co.za including:
  • Specific identification of the claimed original work
  • Evidence of ownership or right to assert the claim
  • Detailed explanation of the alleged infringement
  • Contact information for follow-up
• Upon receipt of a valid claim, we will review the matter and, if justified, take appropriate action which may include content removal or modification.

4. Subscription & Payment Policies

• Some features require a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the billing cycle ends. Users can manage their subscriptions via their device’s app settings.
• Payments are processed through Google Pay & Apple Pay.
• Refunds are not provided, except in cases of billing errors or as required by law. Users must submit refund requests for billing errors via support@prepahead.co.za within 14 days of the transaction.

5. Food & Health Disclaimer

• We do not guarantee the accuracy of recipe information.
• Users are responsible for checking allergen risks and dietary suitability.
• We do not provide medical or dietary advice. Users should consult a qualified professional regarding health-related concerns.
• We are not liable for health issues arising from the use of our recipes.

6. Advertising & Third-Party Services

• Ads may be displayed in the app.
• Third-party services (e.g., Firebase, Google) may collect data as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not control third-party data practices. Users should review their policies separately.

7. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend accounts for violations, abuse, or legal compliance.

8. Limitation of Liability

We provide our services “as is” and disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Service interruptions
• Third-party actions
• Technical malfunctions

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
